A Girl In Port

From the Shadows

Sunset Beach

Canon EOS 5D, 24 mm, 1/250 sec, f 10, 50

I've always loved the beach, for as long as I can remember. Even on a cold winter afternoon, with the wind blowing and a nasty storm on the horizon, I find the beach to be a beautiful and peaceful setting. Case in point...this image. It was taken on Sunday afternoon, on Sunset Beach in Cape May. Genevieve and I were combing the beach for aesthetically pleasing rocks which we intended to use for lining the new tank I was assembling for Morrissey, my turtle. At several points during our search, I was forced to stop and capture something which I thought was beautiful. I hope everyone else enjoys this scene as much as I do.
