To be honest, it took me a number of years to warm up to the idea of becoming a wedding photographer. I had seen enough websites filled with cookie cutter wedding photos and countless pages of pandering PR speak to make me weary. It seems like everyone you talk to is either the best, the most experienced, the cheapest, the most devoted, or all of the above. Sadly though, in a photo field where everyone seems to be touting their own creativity, I rarely see much creative output. Since most couples have never had to hire a photographer before, and likewise don't have much experience or knowledge about the field, they are often taken advantage by stuffy photographers with lucrative wedding "packages". Undoubtedly, the world of wedding photography (and to a certain extent, commercial photography as a whole) is a confusing and sometimes shady place. I'm sure you can understand my hesitation.
Are you ready for the hypocritical part where I tell you how I'm the best, most experienced, and cheapest New Jersey wedding photographer around? Sadly, I'm not going to do that. What I will say is that I care wholeheartedly about what I do. The photos that I take mean as much to me as they do to the folks who are paying for them. They may not be the best around or the cheapest out there, but a lot of thought, time and care has gone into them. Beyond that, I will let the images that I've posted on this site speak for themselves.
